We Support Networks
Big Challenges Solved with Bigger Heart
Real progress relies on collaborating across differences. We bring people together, ditch the hot air, and engage everyone's heads and hearts. It’s not always easy, though it can be a lot of fun, too. Most importantly, it works.

Supporting Collaboration for Systemic Change
We help people co-create solutions that transform systems to address the human and environmental challenges of our time. And we do it with heart.
Collaborative Innovation is a powerful, freeing, and creative approach to developing a healthy and life-giving ecosystem of collaborators that will achieve audacious goals. Our approach to collaboration helps you learn, connect, align, and create in a way that is deep, impactful, and sustainable for networks over the long term.
Who it’s for: Organizations looking to initiate new collaborations across other networks and/or help existing collaborations redesign their strategies. We’ll put you in a position to light (or relight) the fire of your collaboration and take impact to the next level.
How we help: We design and facilitate multi-stakeholder networks to solve complex problems. We support new networks to develop, help struggling networks to restart, provide process design and facilitation, and consult on network funding strategies. From inclusive economic development to supply chain sustainability to eliminating racial inequities in healthcare, three core commitments drive our work: mutual thriving, equity, and sustainability.
What it looks like: Networks typically comprise 40-50 key members and can operate for a few years to decades, depending on the complexity and scale of the challenge. Our approach supports you to create high-trust collaborations that produce both immediate results and longer-term impact.
Got a tough problem to solve, or a big vision to realize? We'll provide support, connections and ideas whether you hire us or not.

Kaytura Felix
Distinguished Scholar, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health
"My work with CoCreative was perhaps the most satisfying and stimulating in my 25-year career in government and philanthropy. The CoCreative team was rigorous but not rigid in their analysis. They were organized and disciplined in their management of the project, and they were also humble, joyful, and open to learning. It is my opinion that CoCreative is the organization that probably best brings together left-brain (analysis, organization, rigor) and right-brain (care, joy, humility) qualities to their work, and it is this kind of alchemy that is needed in complex systems change work."

Jason Bernhardt‐Lanier
Co‐Lead Spiritual Changemakers Initiative & Senior Advisor, Ashoka Changemakers and Global Fellowship
"They know how to work with differences through frameworks such as polarity thinking in ways that don’t simply tolerate them, but rather fully value and honor those differences across shared purpose to generate collective impact that had not been achieved before. They enable collaborators to work at their highest common denominator, not the lowest. CoCreative has remarkable experience in determinants of health, including economics, climate, and so much more."

Kellee James
CEO, Mercaris
“I’ve participated in a number of multi-stakeholder meetings on these issues, and a lot of them were led by well-known institutions, but we’ve accomplished more in the last day and a half than we did in six months of those meetings.”

Greg Likteig
Senior Director, The Scoular Companies
“This innovation network approach is really powerful and we’re getting a lot done, but honestly the most valuable part of it for me is that I’ve learned so much about how to run my own business better. Your approaches actually work to get people focused on big goals and moving fast.”

The process has not only resulted in a completely transformed program design but also new strategic directions and priorities for the foundation as a whole. Racism in the U.S. Health System: The Transformation We Need, shares the key learnings from this project’s research and discovery.
